London, May 23 (IANS): British actress Gemma Arterton has revealed that her near and dear ones are her best critics and aren't afraid to be honest with her, even if they have a negative opinion of her work.
"I'm from working-class stock. It's like, 'We're going to be straight with you' and it's refreshing," contactmusic.com quoted the "Clash of the Titans" actress as saying.
"My mother messaged me recently, 'I just saw 'Clash of the Titans'. Yeah. It's alright.' Then my cousin emailed, 'Just saw 'Clash of the Titans', not a great film but the effects were good'," Arterton said.
