Kasargod: Decomposed body of lab assistant found from rivulet

Kasargod, Dec 10: The decomposed body of a lab assistant of the central university at Peria in the district was found from a rivulet on Wednesday December 9. The deceased has been identified as Jisna Baby (26), wife of Sharath Mathew, resident of Kanhangad South.

The body was found from Orcha rivulet at Nileshwar on Wednesday evening. But its identity could not be established. After the photos of the mortal remains appeared in some social media sites, relatives observed them and identified the victim.

The fishermen had noticed the body in the rivulet at around 4.30 pm on Wednesday. They informed Nileshwar police. The police reached the spot, conducted inquest, and took the body to Kannur Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.

The lady had joined the geology lab of the university sometime back as an assistant, it is gathered. Reasons for her demise or suicide could not be ascertained. Nileshwar police are investigating.

    How sad.Body of a young girl found decomposed in revulet.I am sure she herself must have not gone freely.when decomposed ,many days had passed.why noone missed her?her own family never made any attempt to call or not answered a call didnt react.very funny or suspicious I must say.same way now it may not be researched over this.since body is almost decomposed state.RIP dear girl.Heatfelt sympathy to the family.may her soul rest in peace.Hope the truth will come one day out and soon.

    Here the incident looks more of a kidnap and forced rape case. Sex monsters are everywhere !
    Let the police solve the case . No doubt culprits will be caught.

    Very sad indeed... 😔. Only advice is girls/ladies should be very very extra careful while selecting their friends/partners....unless and until boys marry you, never roam outside with your friend alone.... Rest in peace dear... My condolences to her bereaved family...

I have travelled with my family to many parts of the world but we never ever talked or mentioned about anybody as this would be against to other religion and caste.
