London, May 30 (IANS) British actor Jamie Bell is tipped to take up the lead role in the fourth instalment of "Spider Man".
Sony announced that they would begin the franchise from scratch, much like "James Bond" and "Batman", and that they plan to focus on the teenage years of Peter Parker, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Bell, star of British drama "Billy Elliot", is believed to be leading the list of names being considered, which include Logan Lerman from "Percy Jackson and Lightning Thief" and Robert Pattinson.
Director Sam Raimi and leading man Tobey Maguire were all set to return for part four of the movie, but both of them quit the project last year.
