Mangaluru, Dec 23: Wilson Christopher D'Souza, from Kulshekar, bagged the runners up position in Mr, Mrs, Miss Elixir India 2020 beauty pageant held at Goldfinch Retreat, Bengaluru.
The pageant was organized by Elixir World Productions House, one of the country's most esteemed national pageant houses. In the event, Wilson also won the title of ‘Perfect Body.’
After getting a warm reception at Mangaluru airport by family members and friends, speaking about his win Wilson said, “A few months back I noticed an advertisement for the Elixir beauty pageant. After discussing with my parents and friends I decided to audition for the pageant. I was surprised when I got selected for the final rounds. After that, I focused on winning the title. I prepared myself for the event and kept an optimistic view. In the finals, I succeeded in bagging the runners up position. As a beginner, I believe it is a great achievement. I am happy with my performance in the finals. I thank my parents, relatives and friends who supported me to achieve a win in the field of modelling."
"It was a memorable moment in my life. The participants were groomed by experienced industry professionals. Grooming expert Pallavi Kaushik, fashion choreographer Sarthak Choudhary, aesthetic partner Dr Anil Chauhan, nutrition partner Saiprasad S Rao, taught us many things which are new to the participants. I will continue with my efforts to participate in other national and international level pageants. Through Elixir India 2020 I got a good platform and much-needed inputs which I could use to my benefit in other big events. I thank the organizers and my co-contestants for their encouragement and guidance” Wilson said.
Wilson was also awarded a year’s contract with Elixir World Productions House for upcoming events, web series, acting projects and other modelling projects.
Wilson is the son of Wilfred Maxim D'Souza and Leena D'Souza residents of Kulshekar. He is a student of St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor.
