The deceased is identified as Abdul Rahman (29). He was a resident of Kalluravi and was returning home on a bike along with his friend, a gang murdered him on Kalluravi-Hale Kadappura road.

The gang waylaid the bike and stabbed Abdul Rahman repeatedly. Though he was rushed to hospital, he could not be saved. His accomplice on bike Suhaib is also injured. Abdul Rahman

DYFI has accused Muslim League workers of killing Abdul Rahman. They have called for Hartal on Thursday December 24, condemning the killing. Political enmity is suspected to be the motive behind the murder. Recently, during the victory procession after the local body elections, clashes had occurred between the workers of DYFI and Muslim League. It is suspected this might be a revenge act of that clash.

As per primary investigation, police have got the information that six people were involved in the murder. A case is registered against three people. Investigation is being carried out under the leadership of Kanhangad DySP Vinod. Precautionary measures are taken at the locality where the murder took place.

Its shame that they are fighting themselved instead of fighting with the enemy. Rivalry between DYFI and ML wil be a featherstone to anti national party. YOu will perish if you fight yourselves. why dont you come to peace and fight the common enemy . Dont give a chance and strengthen the enemy by your infighting.
