Udupi, Dec 25: Best known for its hygienic pig farming, Nanda Farm on Wednesday, December 23 launched its new product 'Pork King' in a ceremony held at Havanje, Udupi.
The guests of honours on the occasion Daniel Ranjar, president, Temple City Pig Farmers Producer Company Limited, Fr Kishore Kumar, presbyter in-charge, CSI Jubilee Church, Udupi, Fr Steeven Sarvotham, presbyter in-charge, C S Emmanuel Church, Hebri, Dilan Chakravarthi, assistant in-charge, CSI Church, and John Benedict launched the product. A prayer service was also offered.
Fr Steeven Sarvotham in his address said, "Blessings of God and parents is important and needed to initiate any good work. God does not discriminate, He treats everybody equally. One should seek His blessings with love and devotion. When we put our trust in God, He will surely guide us on the right path. Let us all give our best wishes to Nanda Farm for their success."
Daniel Ranjar said, "Nanda Farm is known for quality and hygienic farming practices. It is quite rare to have hygienic pork product outlets in Udupi. Therefore, this product is unique given the quality. A person needs to have interest, patience and dedication to do something in life. Let Sunil, the owner of Nanda Farm launch many such outlets in Udupi."
Sunil Soans, owner of the Nanda Farm speaking to Daijiworld said, "Special variants of pig products are being launched in Udupi. We are farming F2 pig breeds, which are 100% on feed. The meat is very fresh, hygienic and tender. We follow a bio-security method of farming. We also plan to introduce bacon, sausages and by-products in days to come and exclusive outlets near Udupi and Manipal. The main purpose is to provide our customers with the best quality of meat."
On the occasion, children also cut a cake to mark the birth anniversary of the late Sunanda Linet, sister of Sunil Soans. The brainchild of this new project, Sunanda was remembered at the product launching ceremony.
Sunil Soans welcomed the gathering and Madonna proposed vote of thanks. Suchith Kotian compered the programme.
