Udupi, Jan 2: A man lost his life after the scooter he was riding was hit by a truck on Saturday January 2.
The incident took place at around 4:30 am.
The deceased is identified as Isaac Hoode. He was traveling from Hoode towards Malpe.
The incident took place at Thottam under Malpe police station limits.
It is said that the truck was coming from the opposite direction when the mishap took place.
A case is registered at Malpe police station.
