Mangaluru: Akshaya Chende unit, Sneha Bandhu raise fund for treatment of 4-year-old boy

Mangaluru, Jan 2: In a noble cause, Akshaya Chende Balaga in collaboration with Sneha Bandhu, raised a fund for the treatment of four-year-old boy Adarsh on Friday, January 1, by performing from 5 pm to 12 am on the premises of Sri Bhrama Baidarkala Garodi, Kankanady.

Donning different attires and with attractive Chende beat dances, Akshaya Chende Balaga and Sneha Bandhu urged the devotees to come forward and help Adarsh who is suffering from blood cancer.

Finally, the teams have collected Rs 1.88 lac in seven hours to help Adarsh for treatment.

Namdev, owner of Akshaya Chende Balaga speaking to Daijiworld said, "Members of Sneha Bandhu contacted me, urging for financial support for the treatment of the boy. Hence, we thought of a unique concept along with us Badrakaali Chende Gundalike and Shabari Chende Balaga Mullakadu teams joined hands for the noble cause. Successfully, we could raise a fund with help of devotees."
