Mangaluru: Student awarded additional marks in II PU exams after high court intervenes

Mangaluru, Jan 3: A girl student of second PU, who approached the state high court (HC) as she felt that justice was not provided to her in the revaluation of her answer paper was awarded five additional marks.

Nikita Sequeira, a student of science section of Talipady Pompei pre-university college, had secured 584 marks in the final examinations of second PU, which was held in 2019. Though she applied for revaluation in the Hindi subject paper, she did not get justice.

Finally she approached the high court and according to the decision of the court, got five more marks in Hindi taking her tally of total marks to 589.

    With all her efforts of going to court ,got only 5 more marks than before .Not a big success.
