Mangaluru, Jan 3: A social activist and in a complaint to the police alleged that an unidentified person had allegedly threatened her with gang rape over her comment on a Facebook post on the recent incident of pro-Pakistan sloganeering during gram panchayat election vote counting process at Ujire in Beltangady.
City cybercrime police have registered a complaint against a person on charges of outraging the modesty of woman.

It is learnt that the woman had commented her views about recent gram panchayat elections on a Facebook post. Reacting to her comment, a person used filthy language and stated that such people should subjected to gang rape.
Netizens have expressed their anger and condemned such statements against a woman. Public and various organisations demanded that such perverted mind threatening a woman of rape should be punished.
