London, Jun 7 (IANS): "The Twilight Saga: New Moon" triumphed at this year's MTV Movie Awards by scooping four honours, including the Best Movie Award.
Robert Pattinson was declared the Best Actor while his co-star Kristen Stewart walked away with the Best Actress trophy for her performance in the vampire romance. Both of them also landed the Best Kiss prize, reports contactmusic.com.
Pattinson also received the Global Superstar Award.
Other MTV Movie Award winners included Anna Kendrick, who was named the Best Breakout Star for her role in "Up in the Air" opposite George Clooney, "The Hangover" star Zach Galifianakis received the Best Comedic Performance trophy.
But it was Sandra Bullock's return to the spotlight that really got audiences revved up as she accepted the MTV Generation Award. This was her first public appearance after her husband Jesse James' cheating scandal broke out.
