Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (JD)

Udupi, Jan 6: A consumer court has fined Bank of Baroda, Manipal branch, to pay Rs 44,397 for transferring loan amount from the customer’s current account without permission.

Asha Shenoy, the complainant, had her current account and loan account at Bank of Baroda Manipal branch. The bank, without the permission of the customer, had debited the amount from her current account and transferred it to the loan account. Due to this, a cheque bounced which she had issued in some other loan issue.

We also found this Gujarati bank not so friendly in dealing with the customer.
We transfered our FD,s to other banks when Vijaya Bank name removed.

Banks are always after small amount loan borrowers??? They take immediate action to collect the money. Crores of loan borrowers close down/windup companies and run away without action from banks and often support from the staff as they receive commission.

Banks are prompt/regular to take action on small account holders and have done nothing on so many Giant swindlers who have drained so many banks to the tune of Multi Billion rupees. They are free of any charges in the land where they have taken refuge and some are even running business.

Bank of Baroda is Completely Bankrupt and that's reason they have taken other South Indian Banks (VIJAYA BANK) to balance the Loss.
