Bengaluru, Jan 7: All India Congress Committee (AICC) has appointed senior Congress leaders to oversee the election coordination for the upcoming elections in Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry (Union Territory), Assam and West Bengal. Three of them are from Karnataka.

Two sitting chief ministers - Bhupesh Baghel of Chhattisgarh and Ashok Gehlot of Rajasthan have been appointed as observers for Assam and Kerala respectively.

Overall, Congress has appointed 12 senior leaders including Congress general secretary Mukul Wasnik, MLA of Kadwa constituency in Bihar, Shakeel Ahmad Khan for Assam, former chief minister of Goa, Luizinho Faleiro for Kerala, former HRD minister MM Pallam Raju, Maharashtra cabinet minister, Nitin Raut for Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, Alamgir Alam, Vijay Inder Singla for West Bengal.

"I have been appointed as the in-charge of Tamil Nadu earlier and am confident about the state. I have knowledge of the area and of the leaders in the district and taluk level. I have ensured success for our party earlier also. It is a good move and this kind of management is a must. It goes to show that Congress is serious about winning these elections,’’ said Moily in a report by TNIE.

"Of all these states, the most electrifying campaign will be in West Bengal, where Hariprasad will take charge of the team of observers, his other two team members being sitting ministers from Jharkhand and Punjab. I have been there during the last assembly election as screening committee chairman. We had managed to win 42 seats during that time," he said.

Congress party is fit to do all these things like appointing leaders, nominating people to posts etc etc and making a SHOW of this like as though they sone sone sone bug achievements . I hope they realize that just by doing this sort of non sense they will not get votes. I hope they realize this sooner and I won’t be surprised if I could be writing this same comment even after 10 years.

It looks Congress cannot find anyone other than its old guards.

It does not even want to try new and young leaders.

So with this approach fate of Congress is predictable.

EVM Gulata Bandh Karo Bandh Karo. Ballot Papers Shuru Karo.

No need of any observors if elections are held with Ballot papers. The people of our country will throw out this EVM Sarkar which has harmed our country beyond measure.

So you are confirming that EVMs were rigged in 2004 and 2009 elections. Read the post of Mr langoolacharya he has rightly stated with these unelectable leaders congress can go nowhere. What congress needs is not internet servaks who copy and paste garbage but good young dynamic leaders who can resurrect the congress is need of the hour.

Moily Hari and Param are very young and talented leaders according to Congress High Command . BJP is very happy now by fielding these leaders for election campaign . I have a doubt now , Congress may reduced to single digit number in those states .

Vidhwaan Moily first became Karkala MLA in 1972 , 48 years before .....lots of experience and talented guy....many foundation stones he laid when he was CM still remain as 'Monuments' like Taj Mahal in Karkala.....Same Vidhwaan Moily wrote CONgress manifesto for 2018 elections...results are in front of us to evaluate...
