Bantwal, Jun 10: “The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) is not confined to any particular caste, religion or class. It belongs to the human race as a whole,” said district vice president of SDPI, Alphnse Frank. He was speaking after inaugurating the party’s local assembly constituency office at Master Complex in Kaikamba, B C Road, on Wednesday June 9.
Alphonse claimed that SDPI throbs to the problems of the poor, downtrodden, exploited and oppressed classes. He expressed the confidence that his party will emerge as the biggest political party of the nation in the coming days.
Party’s local constituency unit president, S P Sahul Hamid, presided. District general secretary of the party, Mohammed Nasir, Mittabail Jumma Masjid president, Abdul Razack, Raita Horata Samiti general secretary, V Subrahmanya Bhat, joint secretary, I K Idinabba, Mangalore assembly constituency committee president, Abdul Aziz, district committee member, Fazaluddin, etc., in their addresses, conveyed best wishes for the party’s future prospects in this constituency.
Party leaders, Mohammed Sharfuddin, Ubaidulla Bantwal, Sajipa Munnur gram panchayat member, Ashraf, etc., were present.
SDPI local constituency committee general secretary, Yousuf, welcomed. Ijaz Nehrunagar, proposed vote of thanks. Local municipal unit president, M N Mustafa Talipadpu, delivered introductory address. Ashraf manchi presented the programme.
