Kasargod: Two Sent Back for Travelling to World Cup with Fake Visas

Kasargod, Jun 11: The officials of the emigration department in Dubai airport have deported two youths from the district for travelling with fake visas. They have been identified as Nitin (21) and Vineet (22), both residing near Trikkaripura near here.

The two were bound for Soccer World Cup being organized in South Africa by Federation Internationale de Football Association (FIFA). They had left from Kochi airport on Tuesday by Emirates flight. The emigration officials of Dubai grew suspicious over their visas and contacted their counterparts in Dubai. They found out that the visas used by the two were fake.

The two were arrested in Dubai and deported to Kochi airport. They have been handed over to the personnel of Nedumbassery police station, under the jurisdiction of which Kochi airport falls. During interrogations, the two reportedly revealed that they got the visas by paying one lac rupees to an agent.
