Sullia, Jan 20: In a rare gesture, employees of Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) at Subrahmanya gave testimony of their honesty when they returned a laptop left behind by a passenger by oversight.

A person who travelled to Dharmasthala from Subrahmanya railway station, had forgotten to pick a bag containing his laptop in the bus when alighting. The bag containing laptop, worth about Rs 70,000, has since been returned to the true owner.

The passenger in question had travelled by a bus bearing registration number KA 21 F 0039. Bus driver Isub Ali Kallur and conductor Manju, located the passenger and returned the laptop to him at the Subrahmanya bus stand. The officials and the general public have been lavish in praising the honesty displayed by the driver and conductor of the KSRTC bus.
