Bangalore, June 19: Polish singer Claudia Ciesla, who is also a model and actress based out of Germany, is currently in Bangalore for her first Kannada movie ‘Private Number’.
She is shooting at Innovative Film City near Bidadi in the capital. She said that she is enjoying every bit of acting in the Kannada movie.
Claudia said that she had heard of the Kannada film industry which produces 100 films every year and was happy to be a part of it.
Claudia said she had taken acting very seriously. She added that she loved India, its people, history, and culture and wants to work hard in the industry.
The shooting for the song ‘Malay banthu malay mellane’, written by Ramnarayan and the dance scene directed by Lakshmi Ayyar where heroine Niharika and hero Preetham were dancing, is going on in the city.
The shooting for another song ‘Jhonny Walker sightnalli bindaas moodinalli silence beda’ was done at a club on Residency Road with actors Sharan, Chidanand, and Shreelakshmi.
The film is a thriller which tells the story of how life changes for one of the protagonists after getting a call from a private number.
Claudia plays the role of the heroine’s best friend in the movie while director Anand Kumar’s wife has become her best friend in Bangalore.
She hopes to make her mark in Kannada movies with more concrete roles.
Claudia has already acted in the Hindi film ‘Karma’ and wanted to work in South Indian films.
She said that acting with Aamir Khan is her dream. Sunil Shetty and Akshay Kumar have given her acting tips when she met them during reality show ‘Big Boss Season 3’ reality and she would love to act with them as well as Salman Khan.
