Mumbai, Jan 28: "Donations are being collected all over the country to construct a temple in Ayodya. We intend to collect at least Rs 50 lac under my leadership," said north Mumbai MLA, Gopala C Shetty. "We wish that every Indian donate a minimum of Rs 10 and for the house not less than Rs 100 for its construction."
Head of Tulu Kannadiga Abhimani Balaga, well-known organizer Ermal Harish Shetty, Bunts Sangha Mumbai new project committee president Mundappa S Payyade, Ravindra S Shetty, Dr P V Shetty, Gaurao Payyade, Devaraj Shetty, Sathish Shetty, Gangadhar Shetty and Pramod Kamath handed over their donations to MP Gopala Shetty.
Contributions for the temple construction are exempted from income tax under income tax section 80F(2).
Cheques should be issued in the name of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra. The PAN number is AAZTS6197B. Those who sending cheques should write their full name, PAN card number and the mobile number behind the cheque.
