Bengaluru: Ninth, first PU - Encouraging response on opening day

Bengaluru, Feb 2: On the opening day of offline classes for ninth and first PU students on Monday February 1, there was a good response from the students. 65.45 percent attendance was registered for the first PU while 60 percent students attended ninth standard classes.

On the opening day, the teachers advised the students about the timetables of teachers and lecturers and impressed upon the need to study different subjects in a planned way to prepare for the examinations.

Education minister S Suresh Kumar visited Yashaswini, a student who met with a road accident while going to attend the national talent test and is under treatment at NIMHANS here. He enquired about her condition, and promised to arrange for meeting expenses connected with surgeries which she may require to undergo.
