Meghna Naidu's Email Hacked

New Delhi, Jun 23 (IANS): Item girl Meghna Naidu's email id was hacked and the hacker used her account to write obscene mails about her, a police complaint filed by the actress said.

"I came to know that my gmail account has been hacked Saturday. The person was chatting with my friends and writing all obscene things about me. While talking with my friends, the impostor wrote that I am pregnant and wanted to abort the child," Meghna told IANS Wednesday.

It was Meghna's ex-publicist Dale Bhagwagar, who realized that something was fishy.

"She immediately called me up to confirm whether I was actually on the chat or not. It is then she told me the whole story. I was shocked to hear this. It is not a small thing as it gives bad impression of me. It is very stressful and hurting," Meghna added.

The actress, who came into the limelight with the song "Kaliyon ka chaman", filed a police complaint Tuesday in Mumbai.

"I have filed the complaint and police is saying the investigation will take at least a week," she said.

Now a little more cyber wise, the actress advised net surfers to not log on to Google groups, as this is what had led to her account being hacked.

"Never click on the links forwarded to you because this is the mistake that I did and my account was hacked. I had received an album link from Google Groups and I clicked on it. Never do that. It is also important for you to keep changing your password from time to time," she added.
