Mangaluru, Feb 8: N D Mathur, general manager in-charge, Indian Oil launched Indian Oil's exclusive XP100 petrol, premium-grade gasoline for the high-end luxury cars and bikes in Mangaluru on Sunday, February 7 at Indian Oil fuel station in Panambur.
D L Pramod, executive director, Karnataka flagged off the service through a virtual meeting while Anoop Kushwa, CDRSM, launched the distribution by cutting the ribbon and releasing the balloons.
In his virtual message N D Mathur said, “It is with great pleasure that we share this exciting news. Indian Oil has launched XP100 an ultra-performance fuel for high-end luxury cars and bikes. Indian Oil is the first company in the country to launch this top-end premium fuel for our customers, which puts India on the map alongside other countries where Octane 100 is marketed. This ultra-performance gasoline is designed to give a supremely delightful drive. Mangaluru is a growing city and known for supercars and bikes. This exclusive fuel station will help the people of Mangaluru to fancy supercars and superbikes. We at Indian Oil thank the people of Mangaluru for associating with us.”
In his address, D L Pramod said, "Octane 100 is designed to significantly boost engine performance, enhance fuel economy and improve the engine life. It also helps in delivering greater power and faster acceleration. It exceeds IS 2796 specifications and is also an environment-friendly fuel with lower tailpipe emissions. Currently, XP100 is available at select Indian Oil fuel stations in New Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Cochin, Kolkata Mumbai, Pune and Ahmedabad. We received a good response from our launch in Bengaluru. We hope that this product sells more in Mangaluru than it did in Bengaluru."
