Kaup: Fisherman dies after getting entangled in fishing net

Kaup, Feb 8: A fisherman who went for traditional fishing near the Lighthouse in the taluk died after he got entangled in the fishing net here on the morning of Monday, February 8.

The deceased has been identified as Kasmar (65), a resident of Kaup Garadi.

It is suspected that he got caught in the fishing net while fishing itself and fell into the sea.

Local fishermen noticed Kasmar struggling in the sea. Though they rushed to his aid, he had already breathed his last.

Mortal remains of Kasmar were brought ashore and sent for post-mortem.

Kaup police visited the spot and carried out further investigation.

    May his soul rest in peace. I read few more deaths like this. I think people are thinking it is easy to swing this net. Guys be careful, everything need experience. Don't go alone for the first few times of fishing with this net. This net looks simple to catch fish. But extreme dangerous also.
