Kundapur, Feb 9: An invitation of the Press Club inauguration programme resembling the Kundapur taluk working journalists association is seen on social media. People should not be confused about this, stated a press release from Kundapur taluk working journalists association.

Kundapur taluk working journalists association and Udupi working journalists association are recognised by Karnataka state working journalists association and are the official journalist’s association. The association office and press club are at Kundapur Bhandarkar’s College commercial complex and has more than 30 year’s history. There is no connection between our association and another association that resembles the name of our association. People should not get confused, requested the Kundapur taluk working journalists association.

Reporters working for daily newspapers, TV channels, local newspapers, stringers, editors and other journalists are the members of our association. Our association has 63 members. Press conferences of political parties, organizations, businesses and individuals and other similar activities are held at our press club. They will continue in the future also, stated the association president, Shashidhar Hemmady and chief secretary Nagaraja Rayappa in the press release.
