Mumbai: 21-year-old woman thrown in front of moving train for rejecting marriage proposal

Mumbai, Feb 21: In a shocking incident 21-year-old woman was thrown in front of a moving train after she had rejected marriage proposal. On Friday Sumedh Jadhav, a resident of Wadala angered when his marriage proposal was rejected pushed the woman in front of the moving train.

The incident took place at the Khar railway station and was captured on CCTV cameras. The woman escaped but suffered head injuries and received 12 stiches. The man fled from the spot but was arrested by the police within 12 hours.

Sumedh reportedly began chasing the woman on Friday evening when she boarded a train from Andheri station to Khar. She met her mother when she got down at Khar and told her about the accused following her. The man confronted both the women at the station and insisted that the women come with him so they and get married.

When the woman refused the proposal he initially threatened to kill himself but then started dragging the woman towards the track and pushed towards the gap between the moving train and platform.

    Now throw the man on the same track of moving train.Dont spare him.He should get rid of his proposing to marry anyone coming his way,and know the result and pain one suffers .These sick minded people are really a threat to the community.
