Los Angeles, July 1 (IANS) Hollywood star Tom Cruise didn't spend his first salary buying extravagant gifts -- instead he used the money to pay for one of his three sisters college fees.

"I paid for one of my sisters' college education. And my little sister worked for me when I had a paper route; I always told her I'd pay her back. I bought her a car after 'Risky Business'," aceshowbiz.com quoted Cruise as saying.

Meanwhile, the actor, known for doing dangerous stunts in movies, has revealed that he wants to pass on the same skills to his children Isabella, 17, Connor, 14, and Suri, four.

"I used to set up ramps and try to jump over gullies and stuff on my bike. I used to go to the local dump and steal a board then get a trash can and set it up. Then I would find a steep hill and try to get up as much speed as I could. Once I went right through the board, split it in two," he said.

"Now I tell my kids, 'If you’re going to do it, let me teach you how to do it right,’" he added.
