Kundapur, Feb 28: A bike rider lost his life when a car collided with his bike at Gundmi Ambagilu at Sastan near here on the morning of Sunday February 28.
The deceased has been identified as Subhash Amin (45), a resident of Kota Bannady.
He was a civil contractor by profession.
Subhash was riding towards Udupi from Bannady when the accident took place.
He is survived by his wife, child and mother.
Sources said that the car was being driven by a person from Kundapur. He was taken to police station for questioning.
Kota police SI Santhosh BP and personnel Raju K Ramanna visited the spot and registered a case.
