Mangaluru/Udupi, Mar 2: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 19 fresh coronavirus cases on Tuesday raising the tally to 34,468. Out of these, 192 cases are currently active.
A total of 5,70,680 samples have been tested. Out of which 5,36,612 are negative.
As many as 22 people were discharged on Tuesday, A total of 740 deaths have occurred so far.
Over 34,963 mask violations were reported in the Dakshina Kannada district and Rs 36,03,510 in fines have been collected by the authorities.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 23,621, including six fresh cases on Tuesday. Out of these, 63 cases are currently active.
Over 3,69,362 samples have been tested so far, of which 3,45,741 have turned out negative.
As many as six patients were discharged on Tuesday. A total of 190 deaths have occurred so far.
