Mangaluru: CID concludes first phase of investigation into car sale

Mangaluru, Mar 4: The criminal investigation department (CID) team which arrived in the city from Bengaluru, completed its questioning of staff and officers of the city crime branch in the first phase of its inquiry relating to the sale of a luxury car when it was with the police relating to a case.

Those questioned include suspended former city crime branch sub-inspector, Kabbalraj, narcotic department inspector, Ramakrishna, and city crime branch staff, Ashith D'Souza and Raja as well as former CCB inspector, Shivaprakash. As the case also has another angle, the team may continue to question a few more people over the next some days, sources stated.
