Udupi, Mar 4: There was an accident involving a bike and a deer at NH 169, Kanyana on Wednesday, March 3 morning.
The incident occured at about 6.45 am. The bike that hit the deer lost control and fell down. A bus driver named Harish carried the injured bike rider to the hospital.
The deer which was critically injured in the accident, died on the spot. Local people have informed the forest department. Hebri zone forest officials said that they will conduct investigations.
