Bharat Co-op Bank Bids Farewell to CEO J C Poojary

Mumbai, Jul 8: J C Poojary has been an honest and an efficient-administrator, who had led Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited to grow significantly. He is retiring after putting in 28 years of service with the bank. He had cordial relations with the bank directors, staff and customers, said Bank’s former chairman Jaya C Suvarna.
 
Jaya C Suvarna was speaking at the farewell function held for J C Poojary, the chief executive officer (CEO) Bharat Co-operative Bank here, recently.
 


J C Poojary had joined the Bharat Co-operative Bank, on April 7 1983 as an officer.  Since then, he held various senior posts and retired now as CEO of Bank, after putting-in 11 years of service, briefed general manager Anil Kumar R Amin.
 
Bank directors Pushpalatha N Salian, Rohini J Salian, M B Kukyan, Vasudev R Kotian and Jaya C Suvarna honoured J C Poojary on behalf of bank.
 
J C Poojary in acknowledgement to felicitation said that he had worked honestly for all these years, with genuine concern for the growth of the bank and without compromising on business ethics. Meanwhile, he assured to offer his services if in case the bank needs it in due course of time, he added.
 
Bank directors L V Amin, Raja V Amin, Jyothi K Suvarna, M B Sanil, Y Nagesh, Mohan G Poojary, Chandrashekar S Poojary, Shankar D Poojary, J V Kotian, Sridhar K Kotian, N Nityanand, Bhaskar M Salian, Rohitaksha M Suvarna, Ratan Umesh Sanil and Bank general managers Suresh Salian, Shobha Dayanand and Vivek Shanbagh, office-bearers of Bharat Bank Officers’ Association and Bharat Bank Employees’ Association and bank staff were present.
 
Bank assistant general manager Nityanand D Kotian compered the programme.

    I wish Mr JC Poorjary a happy life after retirement. He deserves a big pat on the shoulder after such a loyal and successful leadership in our bank.
    I also have the assurance that He is still vibrant and fruitful, that he'll still have the same big impact on the global economic and financial status, as we endeavour to reduce the financial crisis to nil.
