Mangaluru, Mar 11: The cyber police station here has received a complaint filed by a lady. The lady, a research scholar, says that a professor, angered by the fact that he was not appointed as her co-guide, has been harassing her by uploading her morphed photos on social media and by making her frequent calls over phone.

The woman in question has been pursuing PhD course under the guidance of a professor in a private university in the city. Dr Kondoor Sudheer Kumar from Guntur, who claimed that he is a professor in Acharya Nagarjuna University, asked the woman to appoint him as co-guide for her PhD course. The lady had taken up the matter with the university, but her request to make Kumar her co-guide was rejected as the university said he was not qualified to become her co-guide.
