Mumbai: 63-year-old waiting in queue to get jab dies

Mumbai, Mar 13: In an unfortunate incident, a 63-year-old man collapsed and died while waiting in the queue for vaccination. The deceased had gone to a civic centre in Nalasopara (W) on Friday March 12.

Harish Panchal, the deceased was a resident of Patankar Park. He reportedly had gone to the centre to register for vaccination. He was standing in the queue outside the centre. At around 10 am, he complained of uneasiness and collapsed.

Dr Surekha Walke, medical health officer of Vasai Virar Municipal Corporation said the victim was suffering and had diabetes and hypertension.
