Bantwal, Mar 15: A car repairing garage got gutted completely due to accidental fire near Chandalike on Vittal-Puttur road on Monday March 15.
Ashirwad Car Garage, owned by Harish, resident of Meginapete is the garage which was reduced to ashes in the fire. Cars that were brought to the garage for repair were removed with the help of locals. One car was said to be inside the garage and could not be brought out as the flames of fire were intense.
Puttur fire service personnel rushed to the spot and are trying to put off the fire with the help of locals. Traffic is affected due to the same reason on Vittal-Puttur stretch.
It is suspected that an electrical short circuit is the reason for the sudden fire.
