Mangaluru, Mar 16: PBP Films, owned by Pradeep Barboza, Paladka, a well-known cine-serial director, drama writer and actor, is all set to bring out his first Tulu movie which is yet to be named.

Since his childhood, Pradeep has been associated with Tulu, Kannada and Konkani drama industry. His first directorial Konkani movie, ‘Ek Aslyar Ek Na’, received huge appreciation in India and abroad. The film, in the Konkani industry, is still hailed, for its technical aspects and making. Later, Pradeep directed Konkani serial ‘Makay Naa Tukay Naa’, which was telecasted on Daijiworld TV 24*7. A number of Pradeep’s dramas have been staged in Gulf countries and India receiving rave reviews from the audience. So far, Pradeep is known as one of the finest directors in the Konkani cine-serial industry.

Being an artiste from Tulunadu, Pradeep is now producing a new Tulu movie, shooting for which is expected to begin during April this year.

“When I plan every new project, I always try to give an opportunity to new talents along with the experienced ones. The audience also wants to see new faces. There are plenty of budding acting talents here, who have missed opportunities to feature in films and serials. Through PBP Films, I want to provide a fair opportunity to the acting talents of Tulunadu,” says Pradeep.

The production house has called interested candidates for audition for the role of hero, heroine, and male and female supporting artistes. Those who are confident of performing in front of the camera, can apply for lead and supporting roles. The auditions will be held in Mangaluru and shortlisted candidates will be informed for the final audition.
