Kannada Sangha's Certificate Course Inaugurated

Learning many languages helps in bonding with people from different communities and therefore makes life easier, said Goregaon Karnataka Sangha president G T Acharya, at the inauguration of Kannada certificate course under the aegis of Kannada Sangha, Matunga, here on Sunday July 18.
 
Meanwhile, F T Acharya commended the efforts of Kannada Sangha in promoting Kannada among the native speakers in metro. Kannada teacher Laxmi Sudhindra shared her teaching experiences on the occasion.
 


Certificates were presented to students who successfully completed the course in Kannada.  The highlight of the programme was when students comprising Tamilians, Andhraites, Maharashtrians and north Indians introduced themselves in Kannada.
 
S K Padmanabha rendered the prayers. Kannada Sangha president Gururaj S Nayak welcomed the gathering and elaborated on the activities of the organization. 
 
Kannada Sangha vice-president H S Acharya introduced G T Acharya. Honorary secretary B Nagabhushan compered the programme.
