Mumbai, Jul 19:
The training camps of Chinnara Bimba, children’s drama troupe functioning under Kala Jagattu, an organization striving for promoting Tulunadu culture and traditions besides Kannada fragrance in the metro, was held at Avenue Hotel, Kandivali (East), here on Saturday July 17.
 
Veteran hotelier Raghuram Shetty Belgaum presided over the programme.
 
Harish Shetty said that only studies will not achieve personality development among the children.  The awareness on culture and traditions along with studies are essential for the students to excel in life.
 

 

Malad Kannada Sangh president Harish N Shetty, Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited CEO B K Amin and litterateur Chandrahas Suvarna were the chief guests of the occasion.
 
Speaking at the occasion, Bharat Bank CEO B K Amin said that no one becomes a distinguished person mere by educating in English.  One ought to have a clear perspective right in his / her childhood to achieve something worthwhile in life.  The discipline and cultured living are virtues can assure better future, said B K Amin.
 
Meanwhile, B K Amin commended the efforts of Chinnara Bimba that is led by Prakash Bhandary engaged in promoting inherent talents of children.
 
Raghunath Kottari, president of Durgaparameshwari temple, Malad and secretary Shekar Poojary Brahmavar were present at the dais.
 
Prakash Bhandary welcomed the gathering.  Surendra Kumar Hegde and Satish Salian explained the activities of Chinnara Bimba.  Satish Salian compered the programme.  Charkop Kannadigara Balaga president Bhaskar Sarapady proposed vote of thanks
