Yuvraj Gawas, a police constable attached to Panaji traffic cell was placed under suspension for allegedly assaulting a home guard. A video went viral on social media where the police constable is seen assaulting the home guard.
Superintendent of police, Arvind Gawas confirmed the suspension of the constable.
In the video, Gawas is seen using abusive language and assaulting a home guard on his fractured hand, which was in a cast, while he was resting in the dormitory of the Panaji traffic cell barracks.
