Mangaluru, Apr 12: Minorities are expressing their support to BJP, because of the party's concern towards minorities, said state BJP minority morcha vice president, Kennedy Shantha Kumar.

Addressing media here on Monday, April 12, Shantha Kumar said, "The minorities are leaving Congress and are joining BJP. This is a good development. There is no conflict between BJP and minorities, it was Congress that misled them. It is just that the minorities have realised it."

BJP has allotted Rs 1,500 crore in the budget for the welfare of the minorities compared to the amount of Rs 46 crore allotted during Congress tenure. Meanwhile, Rs 200 crore is directed for the development of the Christian community which shows the party's concern towards minorities, said Shantha Kumar.

I am on a tour across Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kodagu to strengthen the minority wing. So far, the response has been really good.

President of Beary Sahitya Academy, Rahim Uchil, district BJP general secretary, Sudheer Shetty Kannur and others were present.

I wonder how much he got...BJP is a party known for buying politicians big or small, through operation Kamala, and for splitting votes. If this guy has any ounce of respect for himself and his family, he should do charity services at his local church and not harp about the virtues of the fekuest party in the world.

First of all remove the majority-minority tag within your own party. I want to see you as District VP of BJP instead of just Minority Morcha.

Dude first stop this minority majority blabber from your dirty mouth. Who wants this kind of appeasement when your party has divided our country in the basis of religion ?? You are in the BJP for your own selfish motive. If you had one ounce of self respect you wouldn't join hands with a party known for its divisive politics, for being so insecure that you guys arrest and brand anyone speaking against your party as anti nationals.

You and your party including the PM are selfish and not concerned about the people having road shows, campaigning for election during the second wave of Covid 19. No social distancing, no masks used and fooling people with the campaign. Is this the concern and development for the country.

I have always warned that the non Congress opposition are getting stronger by the day. BJP Minority morcha, SDPI etc. The issue is, these parties give opportunities to youngsters to work and contest and they are way ahead in their game when it comes to ground work. I hate to admit this though. Unless otherwise Congress ditches its age old strategies. Its going to decimate further. New generation are not given a chance , he or she just remains a sloganer for their entire life. Despite back to back defeats the oldies are given chance to contest for decades. Result : Veteran Congress leaders are trashed by normal karyakartas. Then blame EVM and get on to internet bashing.
