Udupi: Conference of Rotary district 3182 ‘Rajaparva’ held

Udupi, Apr 13: The conference of the Rotary district 3182 ‘Rajaparva’ was inaugurated at Amrath garden here by Adrasha Kada Siddeshwara Swamy, Siddagiri, Kollapur on April 10. He commended and blessed the Rotary organization for having used a portion of their earnings for service.

Conference president Ananda Shetty welcomed all. Rotary district governor B Rajaram Bhat said that the Rotary organization that was founded because of the inclination of service has covered the world. He congratulated those who organized ‘Rajaparva’.

Representative of International Rotary president, T N Subramani explained the importance of community service by the Rotary.

Sumitra Nayak, president of the Udupi municipal council was the chief guest. Karnataka state backward class commission president K Jayaprakash Hegde spoke about politics and service. Dr Veena Bannanje explained about service and determination.

Managing secretary Allen Vinay Louis rendered a vote of thanks. Rotary district first lady Varadamba R Bhat, former Rotary district governor Abhinandan Shetty, Bharatheesh Adhiraj, Jnana Vasanth Shetty, district governor assigned M G Ramachandra Murthy, conference secretary B V Laxminarayan, Krishna Kanchan, Dr K Suresh Shenoy, guests Rotary Kalianpur president Desmond H Vas, secretary William Andrade, assistant governor Dr H Nagabhooshan Udupa, Suresh Beloor, Devaraj Shettigar, Anand Udyavar, Navin Ameen, K B Prasanna, B N Suresh, K Palaksha, N S Sridhar and Dr Nandakishore U K were present on the dais.
