Bantwal: Hindu Jagarana Vedike activists stall illegal cattle trafficking

Bantwal, Apr 14: Some activists of Hindu Jagarana Vedike, on Tuesday April 13, took into custody a person found to be engaged in illegal cow trafficking. The incident took place near Vittal in the taluk.

The incident happened at Kashimath near Vittal. A person from Mani Mulibail who is in possession of a vehicle bearing Kerala registration number, was engaged in illegally transporting cattle in his vehicle. The Hindu activists who got information about this activity, intercepted the vehicle and rescued the cow.

It is gathered that the accused, in order to convince the people that it was a genuine transaction, was also taking along a calf with the cow.

Few days back a social worker was asking for help to a Hindu Lady from the public......why he couldn't approach such Hindu organizations who work for Hindu's....!!!!??????

    Charles Demello Pangla ,because that doesnt bring money but have to take care of elder person you see.she is sick cant walk,cook ,take to doctor.they have to pay .Wish if that lady got any one to lookafter.This cattle business is going to worst.Noone can buy or take cattle anywhere exchange.They have no other business than this?no work?

    Which is more lucrative...gold smuggling or cow smuggling? Anyway IT authorities should include smuggling as a profession so that these fellows can pay income tax..then, people will look the other way. Anyway I eat beef, and I never miss it in Kerala

    @ Gibs/Kuwait That makes clear of double standards of HJV, BD's and National party philosophy. They create rules on artificial sentiments and when export is concerned they break their own love and sanctity on Cows. This issue is ignored by BJP government because Dollars are more valuable! Also, it is a political vote bank issue. To remain in power they have to please the majorities.

    Good job! Excellent,these guys should be taught a lesson. In fact the Vedike is helping the local authorities like a law abiding citizens. Its every citizens moral right to report or catch thieves and hand them over to the police. If any one is not happy with it, they are welcome to protest , NOT online though.

    If any new party (other than BJP) comes to power they must ban slaughter of Sheep & Lambs in addition to Cattle. Then wait and see how those Bhakths miss nutrients in their food. Eat only vegetables and Fish. (chicken out bird flue). Those who impose rules also need to taste the doze of their invention. If Sheep & Lambs are not sacred, It's not an issue but they too have life and feel the pain. Pigs are pigs (keep distance)

    To be very frank with you guys, though I am not a supporter of HJV or its affiliates, I feel these sort of incidents of ' stalling illegal cattle trafficking' are okay and much more mellower than the ''flashing ' of Ullal yesterday.

    In Bangalore, near Kengeri railway station and Mylasandra, one can see daily, dozens of cows scavenging the food thrown in plastic bags. Since they cannot open the bags, they eat the food along with plastic. Thousands of people pass through that sight, but no one is bothered. I heard after eating some 10 kgs of plastic, the cows will die. I telephoned the Sri Krishna Gaushala, Bangalore, Mobile No. 9844296865 and told them about this. They said they do not have authority to take roadside cows. I told them that "the cow is your mother, God and abode of 330 million Gods and why you allow cows to eat plastic like that which will cause their death. " They cut the telephone and did not disagree of what I told.

Some Guy from their community will sell the cow to this guy then they only will inform? even our department some guys are hand in hand .They will stop the vehicle create a scene. Then they it was transporting illegal .They got the cowfor free , They got money also , free transport .Then they only sell in the night & transport to other districts . These guys are all who have no job Plus beef eaters. BD guy only was caught in Karkal who was doing this illegal business. Where are these guys to comment Shenava & sharan pumpwell .

    Readers, i am truly amazed that such pilfering of cattle is blatantly masterminded by criminals on a daily basis. This pandemic is similar to gold smuggling in MIA. Mumbai has yet to comprehend such criminal activities !!!!

    WHY ONLY intercepted those cattle trafficking by the affiliated BJPeee henchmen ? why not they are protest against the petrol hike ? why not protest CD case ! why not supporting to the CORONA 19 by volunteering in order to curb the spreading of pandemic or helping those who are looking for help ! Money matters !!! one calf or cattle worth might be 15000 to 2000 rs then you count the profit without investing !!
