Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (MS)

Mangaluru, Apr 17: District in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary has instructed the concerned officials to strictly implement coronavirus infection control measures in the wake of increasing cases in the district. In addition, he has asked the administration to identify the infected people and provide them medical treatment and also test primary and secondary contacts of the infected person.

Poojary held a progress assessment meeting through a video conference from Adarsh Hospital in Udupi, where he is getting treated.

He said, "More than 140 cases are detected every day since four or five days. All measures have to be put in place to control the spread of virus. Public has to mandatorily follow the rules of wearing a mask, maintaining social distance and use of sanitizer. Mall, Petrol Bunk and commercial shop owners should alert the customers to follow corona prevention guidelines. Night curfew should be strictly implemented. Negative report checks and other control measures have to be tightened at the Kerala border.

"Awareness has to be created in rural areas also. Covid guidelines need to be followed at meetings and functions. Local bodies and police departments have to implement this.

"There are chances of an increase in Covid cases in the coming days. Ventilators, beds and oxygen cylinders have to be arranged to treat these patients. Asha workers, Anganwadi workers and health workers have to take care of infected people, who are getting treated at home.

"Youngsters are getting infected more. There are chances that the elders in their homes also will get infected because of that. They need to be encouraged to take Covid vaccination in order to develop their immunity. In the coming 20 days vaccination needs to be given to all.

"Officials should take care to prevent any water scarcity in rural and city areas. All hospitals should provide treatment to the public under Ayushman Bharat Arogya Karnataka scheme. Arogya Mitras have to be recruited in hospitals to facilitate this,” he said.

Deputy commissioner Dr Rajendra K V, zilla panchayat CEO Dr Kumar, Mangaluru City Corporation commissioner Akshy Sridhar, city police commissioner N Shashi Kumar, superintendent of police Hrishikesh Sonawane and additional deputy commissioner M J Roopa were present.

Look who is talking. He went to a super spreader event and cau'ght Coronavirus and now talking about strict measures. It is because of behaviour of these BJP management both at centre and states Covid is spreading so rapidly. We have now highest number of cases in the world and have beaten Americans in rapid spread of the virus. India Covid strain is spreading rapidly round the world and is resistant to vaccines and treatments. Ultimately these politicians should be held responsible for loss of lives. Today’s figures show 3 millions people are dead from Covid.

This communist chinese virus is specially to close religious institutions, and to bring their one world communist government, state control. As per recent government circular all other celebrations 25 to 200 people, but religious celebration / congregations not even 10! Book of Revelation Ch 6:7,8 says quater of the earth population got killed due to war, famine, pestilence and wild animals. Remove God, communist satan kills ( Satan is worried about population, brings virus or wars for depopulation). If God is there satan cannot kill, so people pray more or double your prayers and get saved from this evil corona.
