Udupi, Apr 28: Well-known Yakshagana artiste Uday Hegde Kadabala (37), who was reported to be missing since April 21, has been found in Bengaluru.

As per sources, Hegde went to Bengaluru as his relative was unwell and since his cellphone was switched off it was impossible to reach out to him. The police who traced him stated that the lockdown made it difficult for him to return back.

Once the 14-day lockdown ends, it is said that Hegde will be reporting to the Kota station.

Uday Hegde Kadabala is a resident of Matyadi-Guddeyangadi village of Kundapur taluk in Udupi district.

Uday who is a Yakshagana artiste in Perdoor Mela had left his home on April 21 for work purpose. However, since Hegde's wife could not reach him on the phone for over a week she lodged a missing person complaint with the Kota police.

Phone is creating all the problems. Olden days, if someone goes to Bangalore, there used to be no expectation from home about hour to hour or time to time information. But this is the time of mobile phones. Expectations are high. Need to call home every hour, otherwise there will be anxious moments. If someone steals mobile phone and wallet, then you are in double trouble. One side you lost your valuables. Another side people at your home end up in anxious moments and they may end up in police station filing missing complaint, I feel similar thing has happened in this case.

Many husbands are using lock down as a reason to get away from their wife's & lead a stress free , romantic, jolly life! Yakshagana artiste Uday Hegde must get ready to face the music, as his wife is waiting for him at home, in role of Mahisasura mardhini !!!

Anand Poojary, mangalore,I think he must have gone for a change in his daily programm at home away from family ?Simply giving reason that relative was not well? Was his relative more important than wife and ?children?.Didnt want any connection?Only when wife gave missed complain couldnt escape the situation? What a irresponsible person ?Otherwise for long a week didnt call at home.when there is a problem in family life, clear it first within and go anywhere .Now whole world know about you.

Hard to believe. He himself should have called home to his wife about his disability or inquired about their wellfare. If one wants there is a way . his cellphone was switched off so long?not good. There is something missing in this affair.Be fair,.Dont play with own people.
