Beltangady, Apr 30: Car-borne assailants brutally murdered Sudarshan alias Harsha Rane (36), resident of Bendrala of Thotathadi village of the taluk, on the evening of Thursday April 29 at Baddigeri of Mundagoda near Sirsi in the district of Uttara Kannada.
Sudarshan was residing with his family at Dharwad for three years. He is married and is survived by wife and one child. He has business interests in many places including Mangaluru and Sirsi. He was also associated with Hindu organizations.
The motive behind the murder is not known. A case in this connection is registered at Mundagoda police station.
The police are investigating further.
