Karnataka continues to register spike in corona infections: 48,296 new cases, 217 deaths in a day

Bengaluru, Apr 30: The state on Friday, April 30 continued to register a spike in the number of fresh coronavirus cases.

As per the health bulletin released by the state health department, the positive cases in the state rose to 48,296. Bengaluru Urban alone reported a huge number of 26,756 cases on Friday alone.

As many as 217 deaths due to coronavirus were reported on Friday, with Bengaluru Urban recording 93 deaths and Ballari 11. With this, the toll so far has risen to 15,523.

Over 14,884 people were discharged from hospitals on Friday, taking the total recoveries so far to 11,24,909.

So far, Karnataka has seen 15,23,142 positive cases so far.

Among the total active cases, 2,431 patients are currently admitted in ICUs across the state.

The positivity rate for the day stands at 25.44%, while the case fatality rate for the day is 0.44%. A total of 1,89,793 samples were tested between Thursday and Friday.

As many as 95,81,682 people have received vaccination so far in the state.

    The BJP Govt has totally mis managed this Resulting in Thousands of Deaths. Whole world Knows the Election Rallies by BJP, and Kumba Mela (50 Crore people) supported by PM Modi is root cause of crisis. It is reported in Yahoo News International that Modi is more interested on his image and the elections at any cost than the Covid deaths in the country. Time to replace BJP& put educated PM

    Why how many cases and how many deaths, why not how many recovered and survived ? All to HYPE FEAR, clog hospitals with patients, then real serious patients die without getting proper treatment or attention. Finaly 98 % with mild symptomes recover. All these because of communists so called preplanned gold standard RTPCR tests for getting stats for pushing their vaccines, online business and their agents to make them or rake billions and Poor small scale and medium scale businesses to suffer and bankrupt. That's all about this Covid 19 or Novel corona viruses or common seasonal flu. May be 0.5 % to 1.5% pneumonia cases (or real wuhan virus) for this Communists' Certificate of Vaccination ID 2019 named virus or OR to check whether one has been marked or not as mentioned in Book of Revelation Ch 13:16-18
