Washington, Aug 8 (IANS): A small plane crashed into a home in Pennsylvania state, US, Saturday, killing at least two people.
The plane - a twin-engine BE58 Beech Baron - crashed into the house in a rural area about 140 km from Pittsburgh, Xinhua reported quoting local police.
The federal aviation administration said the plane took off from Arnold Palmer regional airport in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. It went down 11 minutes after the takeoff.
Rescuers managed to recover the two bodies from the wreckage. It was believed that only two people were on board.
No one in the house was injured, police said. Steve Yanko, who lived in the house with his wife Rose, was sleeping on the couch when the plane crashed, missing him by inches.
His wife was not at home at the time.
