Udupi: Local Man Rescues Giant Turtle

Udupi, Aug 12: A giant turtle weighing nearly 40 kg was rescued by Ashok, a resident of Perampalli, while he was fishing in the Arabian Sea, on Wednesday August 11.

The turtle did not have its front legs and was struggling on the sea shore when Ashok arrived for fishing. He took the turtle to the pond at Sudhindra Aithal’s home.

    Now that Ashok has rescued the turtle, it is time for the wildlife conservation dept to arrest Ashok
