Kundapur: Collision between tipper, scooter - Rider of two-wheeler killed

Kundapur, May 28: In a tragic accident, a rider of a two-wheeler lost his life when a tipper collided with his vehicle at Vandse on Friday. Raju Mogaveera was the victim of the accident.

The tipper was coming from Vandse towards Bellal, while the rider of the scooter was coming from Bellal and heading in the direction of Vandse. Raju was thrown on the road due to the impact of the collision.

Although he was immediately taken to the hospital, the doctor declared him dead on arrival. As per reports, the overspeeding and negligence of the driver of the tipper caused the accident.

    Tipper accidents are high in number due to overspending or drunk drivers. Drink and drive cannot be tested during pandemic, however speedy driving could be stopped. Set a speed limit for tippers in order to avoid such accidents.
