Mangaluru/Udupi, May 29: As per the Dakshina Kannada health bulletin the district reported 923 fresh coronavirus cases on Saturday. While the total number of positive cases has risen to 74,821. This further has raised the number of active cases to 9,345.
A total of 8,44,997 samples have been tested. Out of which 7,70,176 are negative.
As many as 574 people were discharged on Saturday, A total of 901 deaths have occurred so far, including 7 on Saturday.
A total of Rs 70,57,017 in fines have been collected so far, for 59,771 mask violations in the district.
Udupi
The coronavirus tally in the district has risen to 57,556 including 684 fresh cases on Saturday. Out of these, 5,775 cases are currently active.
Over 5,86,349 samples have been tested so far.
As many as 848 patients were discharged on Saturday. A total of 325 deaths have occurred so far, including three on Saturday.
