Mangaluru, Jun 4: A group of men brutally assaulted a youth at Dharma Nagar, Ullal, on the evening of Friday, June 4. The assault is said to have been connected to a road accident that had occurred near Thokkottu.
Dharma Nagar resident Diwakar Acharya has been identified as the victim of the assault.
As per reports, the gang that arrived on the bike launched a lethal attack on the victim before escaping. Diwakar has been admitted to a private hospital, Thokkottu.
A case in this connection is registered at the Ullal police station.
