Bengaluru, Jun 5: The next academic year (2021-22) will begin from July 1. Admissions will start from June 15 according to the information conveyed by the education department.
The first session of the next academic year will start from July 1 and end on October 9. There will be 10 days of interim holidays after the first session. The second session will be from October 21 to April 30, 2022. Then there will be summer holidays till May 28 according to the guidelines of the education department.

Out of the total 304 days available, 66 days will be holidays. Except discretionary and Dasara holidays, 223 days will be available for teaching and other related academic activities. The admission process will start from June 15 and end on August 31 according to the information provided by V Anbukumar, commissioner of education department. He also said that online classes will be held if the coronavirus pandemic situation continues to affect offline classes.
